Nintendo launched new shipments of NES Classic Edition this week, Manufacturers of the best wireless controller for NES Classic, 8BitDo, have announced a new version that is cheaper and better. Known as the N30 2.4G wireless controller, the new model, as the name implies, uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection through the dongle, which is already a substantial improvement over the wired controller included with the NES Classic. 8BitDo has retained the traditional rectangular shape of the original NES controller, with the addition of a dedicated home button in the center, which makes it much easier to return to the main menu of the mini console.
The shoulder buttons have been removed from the previous model of the 8BitDo driver, while the buttons on the face now have a familiar square design, instead of a cross. The N30 also has a rechargeable battery, and the included dongle means that pairing with the console and entry into the game is immediate. To top off all this is the new price: the N30 costs only $ 25, making it $ 15 cheaper than the previous version of 8BitDo.
